Hands up if you thought that by now you would be quite a way into the 'best life' you imagined yourself living when you were little.
Uni finished, job-hunting and feeling very stuck on one side of the fence peering over, wishing I could live it up with the young professionals.
However, in all my wishing and wanting I'm making conscious decisions to enjoy the season I'm in.
I'm sat in my living room drinking a green tea and eating weetabix on a Friday morning. No rush hour mayhem for me. Just a day spent window shopping for some nice bits to decorate my room, quality time with my friend and her bubbas and then an evening seeing some pretty amazing young people.
The independence and freedom (and lack of homework/assignments) is fantastic. I imagine getting my career started would be pretty fantastic too. But for right now I'm enjoying this weird middle ground.
Since this month has been pretty slow here are a few updates to my monthly faves and Snapshots:
Homey Oh My So as I'm looking to do some decorating very soon, I've started getting all interior design crazy. I stumbled across this blog through Pinterest. It's so beautiful. Very minimalistic and inspired by Scandinavian interior design.
Brunch at the Bourne & Hollingsworth Buildings
- So Good. Especially good if you're into eating somewhere that has a really nice vibe. It's really bright and botanical + the service was so good.
(It's the kind of place you go to tell your friends you're engaged)
This bookshop is the best! Full of random titles and funny occasion cards. Good for little quirky gifts if you want something different. (Also sorry about that bin taking centre stage)
